Clairette du Languedoc Adissan

Clairette from Languedoc Adissan

Atisus is the result of a partnership with the winegrowers of the Adissan cellar, a story of men who transmit from generation to generation, the history, quality and authenticity of this appellation and the culture of Clairette d'Adissan.

Clairette d'Adissan, 2,000 years old, is considered the oldest indigenous grape variety in Languedoc (dating back to the first century BCE).

At the foot of the Vissou peak, 30 km from the sea, the appellation benefits from a hot and dry Mediterranean climate in summer. The predominance of the north wind is attenuated by the first foothills of the Cévennes.

“Atisus” is a tribute to the history of the village of Adissan, and more precisely to an important Roman villa located to the south of the village which gave its name.
